Labor Day 2016

On the first Monday of September, the United States celebrates Labor Day to honor the labor movement in the country. A federal holiday since 1894, it is celebrated with parades,barbecues and lots of shopping as many retailers have big sales this holiday weekend. Many people feel this day marks the end of summer since school and fall sports generally start at this time. Sports fan enjoy the start of NCAA sports begin as well as NFL games.
